the STORIES I tell

Yuvali Manifests Her Reality

Updated: May 31

Every morning, when Yuvali and I walk to school, we stop for coffee on the way.

I get a coffee, and she gets a rugelach and milk.

That’s our little morning ritual.

Each day comes with a different story—but there’s always one powerful theme running through.

Yuvali sees her future.

She imagines it.

She knows it.

She’s already married (with four kids!),

her husband is tall and handsome with muscles, and they both drive Mercedes Jeeps—hers is pink, his is black (and mine? Purple 💜).

They live in a two-story house.

And every time, I find myself telling her,

“Sounds about right. You’ll get everything you want in this life.”

Because she can.

Yuvali can have anything her heart desires.

She also says she doesn’t want to get divorced, so I gently teach her a few more things to look for—beyond height, muscles, and the Jeep.

She often says thank you.

And I say thank you right back—to her.

For who she is.

For being so responsible, so organized, so wonderful, smart, beautiful, annoying (in the best way), hilarious, mature, confident, a great friend, sometimes a sweet sister… for being appreciative, diligent, tidy—And most of all, I tell her over and over again how deeply loved she is.

Yuvalush is turning 8, but her soul might be a bit older.

She seems to already understand a thing or two about this wild life.

I’m so grateful for this walk-to-school ritual.

Just her, me, and our coffee.

Here’s to many more years of health, joy, and dream-come-true realities—hers, mine, and ours.

Happy Birthday, my love. I’m so glad you were born. 💫
